Group A

The Newcomers

Every team is a newcomer to the US Youth Soccer National Championship since this is the youngest age group available. Surf Academy (CA-S) represents the only team that has played in more than one regional title game, but every team is on a level playing field in regards to having one region championship. South Shore Select Elite (MA)'s high amount of State and Region ODP players jump off the page immediately, and there is no doubt that South Shore will bring a variety of talent to Germantown. Dallas Kicks SC (N-TX) will feature Jaida Thomas at the point of attack as the striker scored eight goals at the 2014 US Youth Soccer Region III Championship, with five coming in the semifinal and final matches. Michigan Hawks 01 (MI) were dominant at the Region II Championship, and after scoring three goals in the semifinals to get by Michigan Jaguars Green (MI), Hawks used the momentum to earn a 4-0 victory in the final. Rounding out the group, Surf has proven success against Cal-South teams by being back-to-back Cal South National Cup titles as well as going through two Cal South teams in the quarterfinals and semifinals of the 2014 US Youth Soccer Region IV Championship.
