FRISCO, Texas (June 19, 2014) — For the first time in the storied history of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, multiple live broadcasts will be available for the 2014 US Youth Soccer National Championships, presented by the National Guard, on July 22-27 from the Maryland SoccerPlex in Germantown, Md. on http://championships.usyouthsoccer.org.
US Youth Soccer, in partnership with Tourbeau Sports Group LLC, will present over 70 games of the US Youth Soccer National Championships live, at no cost and in high definition, with commentators calling the action to further showcase the nation’s top athletes.
Each of the 14 National Championship final matches, as well as broadcasts from several games each day throughout pool play, will allow family, friends, scouts and fans live access to the moments that make the championships youth soccer’s highest achievement.

Pool play will take place July 22-24 and feature 96 teams playing three games each, with matches from select fields streamed live throughout the three days. As the field narrows to 28 finalists vying for the National Championship on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, live broadcasts will be available as each team aims to complete the final step of its journey and write their name in the history of youth soccer.
Game schedules for the event will be available following the completion of the Regional Championships.
Each year brings about new challenges and highlights the motivation and commitment of these youth as they continue pursuing their dreams of being one of the best youth soccer teams in the United States. The National Championships are the final leg of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, where the boys and girls national champion is crowned in seven age groups (Under-13 through Under-19). The finals are a culmination of a year-long series of competitions at the state and regional levels, which provides approximately 185,000 players on over 10,000 teams from 55 US Youth Soccer State Associations the opportunity to showcase their development against the best competition in the nation.
The 2014 US Youth Soccer National Championships will consist of US Youth Soccer Regional Champions in the Under-13 through Under-19 Boys and Girls age groups, as well as the US Youth Soccer National League qualifiers in the Under-14 through Under-18 Boys and Girls age groups to complete the field of 96 teams.

The US Youth Soccer National Championship Series provides more than 10,000 teams from US Youth Soccer's 55 State Associations the opportunity to showcase their abilities against the best in the nation while emphasizing teamwork, discipline and fair play. The yearlong competition begins with over 185,000 players in the US Youth Soccer State Championships. These champions and selected wildcard teams, through US Youth Soccer Regional Leagues, advance to compete in one of four US Youth Soccer Regional Championships.
