How they got to Nationals

Manhattan SC PSG 96 finished their Region I Premier League season in the middle of the North Division with a record of three wins, two losses and two ties. They won the Eastern New York State Cup with a 3-2 victory over Smithtown Arsenal to avenge their loss in last year's regional title game. Manhattan SC PSG marched through regionals scoring 17 goals while allowing only two to secure a Regional I Championship and a berth to the 2012 US Youth Soccer National Championships.

In 2011, Manhattan PSG qualified for the Region I Championships through the Region I Premier League and were defeated in the final by in-state rival Smithtown Arsenal.

How they got to Nationals

Challenger Crew Jrs. Black won the 2012 Spring Midwest Regional League Blue Division. After going undefeated in group play of the Ohio North State Cup, Challeger Crew Jrs. Black lost in the championship 1-0.  In Region II Championships they against went undefeated through group play and would lose to the eventual champions in the semi-finals. With both the Region II champion and finalist being National League qualifiers, Challenger Crew Jrs. Black gained a berth to the 2012 US National Championships as the Region II representative after winning a 3rd place playoff game over Grand Rapids Crew Jrs. (MI).

How they got to Nationals

SAA Real Madrid finished second in the 2012 Region III Premier League East Division with a record of seven wins and two losses. Real Madrid won their second consecutive Florida State Cup to advance to the Region III Championships. Their only loss in the Region III Championships was in the group stage to FC Dallas after they had already sealed a place in the quarterfinals. They eventually won the championship game 2-1 in penalty kicks over GSA Phoenix 97 Red (GA) to earn a berth to the 2012 US Youth Soccer National Championships.

How they got to Nationals

Fullerton Rangers 96 White clinched the 2012 Spring Far West Regional League championship. Fullerton advanced to the Region IV Championships winning the Cal South National Cup and also claimed the Fall Far West Regional League title. While winning the  Region IV Championship, Fullerton only allowed one goal the entire tournament to claim back-to-back championships and earn a berth to defend their 2011 national crown.

  • Jimmy signed his 1st professional contract with Danubio Futbol Club of the Uruguayan 1st Division, at the age of 17. His professional career continued for 8 years, playing in Latin America (Cerro, Liverpool, Irapuato ), Europe (Ponnistus), and the United States (Ft. Lauderdale Strikers).
  • Region IV Assistant Coach and a Coaching Education Instructor for Cal-South and US Soccer.  In 2011, Jimmy was named Regional Youth Coach of the Year as well as National Youth Coach of the Year by the NSCAA.

How they got to Nationals

Chicago Magic won the 2011-2012 National League Blue Division with a 4-1-2 record on 15 goals for and only five against. Magic won the 2012 Illinois State Cup championship to gain entry into the Region II Championships where they lost in the finals to fellow National League champion CUP Crew Jrs. Even with the loss in the Region II Championships the Chicago Magic gain entry to the 2012 US Youth Soccer National Championships with their National League divisional win.

Jorge Valle

  • Jorge became a professional soccer player at the age of 17 when he signed with the 3rd Division of Atlas de Guadalajara. He spent four years in the Atlas Youth Division winning three National Championships; one in 3rd Division and two in 2nd Division.
  • 1st Division in Lima , Peru at the age of 21. 2001 played for the "Bachilleres de la U. de G" on 1st "A" Division. One season with Leon F.C. before playing 1st Division in Mexico for the "Gallos Blancos del Queretaro." In 2002 Jorge won the 1st "A" Division Championship for "Dorados de Culiacan".
  • 2004 Jorge became part of the Chicago Storm, professional indoor soccer. In 2005 he become the leader of the "Nike FC Magia Team Chicago', a group of players that were ambassadors of soccer for Nike in the Chicago area. In 2008, Jorge joined the Rockford Rampage  an expansion team for the new indoor soccer league.

National League Red: CUP Crew Jrs Gold 96/97 (OH-S)

 

How they got to Nationals

CUP Crew Jrs Gold were the Spring 2012 Midwest Regional League Premier Division Red champions. They also won the Red Division of the 2011-2012 National League while scoring 20 goals and allowing only three. CUP Crew Jrs lost in the semi-finals of the Ohio South State Cup but advanced to Region II Championships with their Midwest Regional League divisional win. CUP Crew would win the championship without allowing a single goal in the entire tournament. Even with the Region II Championship win, CUP Crew Jrs Gold 96/97 advances to the 2012 US Youth Soccer National Championships with their National League divisional win.

Had five of the top 10 goal scorers in the Region II Championships: Mohammed Elmardi and Luke Treadway were the top two goal scorers with five goals each, Charlie Beyers and Lucas Andrew had three goals each and David Jeffries scored two goals.

Forward Luke Treadway set a National League scoring record in 2011-2012 by scoring 13 goals in seven games, which included at least one in each game.  Treadway also scored in every game at the Regional Championships.
