Region I: CRUSA/FC Bucks Fury (PA-E)


How they got to Nationals
Fury won the Eastern Pennsylvania State Cup by scoring 14 goals in only four games. Fury defeated Lehigh Valley United 4-1 to advance to the 2012 Region I Championships. At Regionals, Fury won two games and tied the third game in the group stage. Fury then won their semifinals match 3-2 and defeated PSC Baltimore (MD) 3-1 in the final to grab a spot in the National Championships.

How they got to Nationals

Following a 6th place finish in the National League, Internationals placed second in the 2012 Spring Midwest Regional League with an 8-1 record. The team won the Ohio-North State Cup by scoring 15 goals and only allowing one. At the Region II Championships, Internationals sported an 18:3 goal differential throughout the tournament. Internationals defeated Lake Country United 3-1 in the finals.

Internationals were eliminated after group play in both the 2010 and 2011 regional tournaments.

Sting won the North Texas State Cup by scoring nine goals and only conceding three. Sting overcame a 1-1-1 record in the 2012 Region III Championships group stage to advance on tiebreakers and win the Regional Championship by defeating Albion Hurricanes 1-0.

Mercury qualified to the 2012 Region IV Championship as a state wildcard after they were the Cal North State Cup runner-up. Mercury advanced as the second seed in their group and went on to defeat Pride Predators 97 (CO) 1-0 in the finals to secure a Region IV Championship with a 13:1 goal differential.

Kings were perfect in the National League as they sported a 7-0 record while scoring 17 goals and only conceding one, becoming just the fourth team in National League history to finish with a 7-0 record. Kings also won the Ohio-South State Cup and finished with a 1-2 record in group play of the 2012 Region II Championships.

Legends FC won the National League Red division by winning six games and tying the other game. Legends scored 18 goals and only conceded three. Legends FC quallified for the 2012 Region IV Championships via the Far West Regional League, winning two games and tying the third before losing in the quarter-finals to Pride Predators (CO).
