How they got to Nationals

After a fourth place finish in the National League, Lehigh Valley United 95 went 5-1-1 in Region I Premier League play to win the North Division knocking out Bethesda in the smifinals and losing to OBGC Rangers (MD) in the finals 4-3 in PKs. Lehigh Valley United won the Eastern Pennsylvania State Cup to advance to regoinals. In the Region I Championships they went undefeated through the group stage before taking down OBGC Rangers in the semis and Downtown United SC White (E-NY) in the championship (2-0) to return to the National Championships after being eliminated in preliminary play in 2010.

How they got to Nationals

The Michigan Jaguars 96 Green won the Premier Divsion Red of the 2012 Spring Midrest Regional League. The Jaguars went undefeated to win the Michigan State Cup. They continued their undefeated ways winning the Region II Championship tournament without conceding a goal to gain berth to the 2012 US Youth Soccer National Championships. Jaguars return to the National Championships after a finals appearance in 2011 when they qualified by winning the National League.

Region III: CESA 95 Premier (SC)

 

How they got to Nationals

CESA finished in the middle of the table in the Region III Premier League, finishing with a record of three wins, four draws and two losses. They went undefeated during the South Carolina State Cup to earn a spot in the Region III Championships. CESA again went undefeated during group and knockout stages to earn themselves a berth into the 2012 US Youth Soccer National Championships. The champs defeated National League qualifiers GSA Phoenix 96 Red (GA) in the regional final.

How they got to Nationals

Arsenal FC Lucey finished second in the Cal South National Cup but advanced to the Region IV Championships with a state a wildcard spot. Arsenal made the most of their second chance completed group play undefeated. In the Region IV final they defeated the team who had previously beat them in National Cup, West Coast FC, to win the Region IV Championships and gain entry to the 2012 US Youth Soccer National Championships. Arsenal won every game in the regional tournament by one goal.

  • Coached the back-to-back-to-back National Champions at Arsenal from 2004-2006.  That team was defeated in their fourth straight National Championships finals, preventing them from becoming the first team to win four straight National Championships.  Only three other teams have ever won three straight national titles.

How they got to Nationals

The Blackhwawks won the Blue Division of the 2011-2012 National League with a 5-1-1 record. Blackhawks finished second in Group B of the Spring Far West Regional League tying for the most points but having a smaller goal differential. They then won the Arizona State Cup while scoring 28 goals and allowing only five to get into the Region IV Championships. The Blackhawks run in Phoenix reached the Region IV quarterfinals, but they had already secured a berth to the 2012 US Youth Soccer National Championships with their National League divisional win.

How they got to Nationals

GSA 96 Phoenix Red went 4-0-3 during the 2011-2012 National League, winning the Red Division. They also won the Region III Premier League with twice as many goals for than against. GSA Phoenix came in second place in the Georgia State Cup, but still earned a berth to the Region III Championships with their Region III Premier League win. GSA lost the Region III final, but had already qualified for the 2012 US Youth Soccer National Championships by winning their National League division.
