How they got to Nationals

Lehigh won their third Eastern Pennsylvania State Cup by defeating Penn Fusion 97 (E-PA) 3-1 in the finals. At the 2013 Region I Championship, LVU only conceded one goal throughout the entire tournament. The one goal was in the final against Arlington SA Impact Red (VA) as LVU won 3-1 to advance to the US Youth Soccer National Championships.

How they got to Nationals

Vardar won their third straight Michigan State Cup when they defeated Ann Arbor United SC 98 Royal (MI) 3-0 in the finals. Vardar then defended their regional title at the 2013 Region II Championships. Vardar defeated OP Eagles Dublin (OH-S) 6-0 in the semifinals before beating Chicago Magic Preacademy (IL) 1-0 in the final to ensure a spot in their second straight National Championships.

How they got to Nationals

FC Dallas defended their North Texas State Cup title by defeating Solar Chelsea 98 2-1 in the finals. At the 2013 US Youth Soccer Region III Championships, FC Dallas beat SCU/MP (SC) 97 Elite in the quarterfinals, and Plantation FC 97 (FL) in the semifinals. For the second straight year FC Dallas met Sunrise Elite 97/98 (FL) in the finals. Unfortunately for FC Dallas, the result wasn't different than last year as Sunrise won 3-0, however due Sunrise already qualifying for the National Championships through the US Youth Soccer National League, FC Dallas advances to the National Championship as the Region III Representative.

How they got to Nationals

Santa Barbara won their third California South National State Cup in four years by defeating FC Golden State Platinum (CA-S) 4-0 in the final. Santa Barbara completed the same feat at the Region IV Championships after defeating both Pateadores Academy (CA-S) in the semfinals and FC Golden State in the finals via penalty kicks to win the region championship, and set their sights on defending their national title.

How they got to Nationals

Sunrise Elite completed a rare feat of going perfect through seven games in the US Youth Soccer National League in route to a Blue Division championship. Sunrise scored 14 goals and only surrendered three. Despite already qualifying via National League, Sunrise won the Florida State Cup, and defeated FC Dallas for a second straight year in the Region III Championships.

GSA failed to make it out of the group stage in the Georgia State Cup, and did not qualify to the Region III Championship.
