Smithtown

 

How they got to Nationals

Smithtown defeated the defending Region I champs and longtime rival, Manhatttan SC Paris St.-Germain (E-NY), 1-0 in the finals of the Eastern New York State Cup. At the 2013 US Youth Soccer Region I Championships, Smithtown only surrendered one goal, and scored 15 of their own. Smithtown defeated Arlington SA Strikers Red (VA) 1-0 in the final to send Smithtown to its second National Championships.

How they got to Nationals

Alliance captured its first Michigan State Cup Championship by defeating the defending champion Grand Rapids Crew Juniors Gold (MI) 1-0 in the finals. At the 2013 US Youth Soccer Region II Championships, Alliance went 3-0 in the group stage before needing overtime to defeat Chicago Fire Youth Soccer CLub (IL) in the semifinals. Alliance then took care of PFC (OH-N) in the finals 3-1 to punch their ticket to Nationals.

How they got to Nationals

NASA won the Georgia State Cup for the first time by defeating 97 Norcross Fury Premier (GA) 3-1 in the finals. At the 2013 US Youth Soccer Region III Championships, NASA placed second in their group, and went on to defeat SCUFC 96 Elite (SC) in the quarterfinals and FC Alliance Black (TN) in the semifinals. NASA fell in the final to GSA Phoenix 97 Red, but due to GSA already being qualified via the US Youth Soccer National League, NASA advances as the Region III Representative.

How they got to Nationals

FC Golden State advanced to the 2013 US Youth Soccer Region IV Championships by winning the Far West Regional League playoff. At Region IV Championships, Golden State defeated Utah FC 97MA (UT) 3-0 in the quarterfinals and Carlsbad Elite 96 (CA-S), 2-0 in the semifinals. FC Golden State finished things off against CFC Boca Juniors (OR) 3-1 in the finals to send FC Golden State to the National Championships.

CCV qualified to the National Championships by winnning the National League Red Division with a 6-1 record. The Stars scored 15 goals and only conceded four. CCV then won their third straight Arizona State Cup by defeating SC del Sol 97 Colavecchia (AZ) 2-1 in the finals. At the Region IV Championships, CCV failed to make it out of the group stage with a 1-1-1 record.
