How they got to Nationals

PDA won their second New Jersey State Cup title by defeating the two-time defending champs, SDFC Gauchos (NJ) 2-1 in the final. At the 2013 Region I Championships, PDA cruised through the group stage going 3-0 and scoring 13 goals in three games. PDA took care of Penn Fusion SA 95 (E-PA) 6-1 in the semifinals, but fell to OBGC Rangers (MD) 3-2 in the finals. Due to OBGC already qualifying to the National Championships via the National League, PDA advances as the Region I Representative.

How they got to Nationals

SC Waukesha 95/96 won its first Wisconsin State Cup with an overtime win over three-time champion, Milwaukee Bavarians (WI). Waukesha won all three of their group game at the 2013 US Youth Soccer Region II Championships, and defeated Alliance 96 Black (MI) 1-0 in the semifinals. However in the finals Waukesha lost to CUP Crew Jr Gold 95 (OH-S), but since CUP had already qualified as a result of the National League, Waukesha advances as the Region II Representative.

How they got to Nationals

TUSA qualified to the 2013 Region III Championship as the North Carolina State qualifier due to the North Carolina State Cup champion, NCA Alliance 95 (NC) qualifying via the Southern Premier League East. At the Region III Championships, TUSA went 3-0 in their group and defeated Blitz Thunder United 96 (OK) in the quarterfinals and 96 Lobos Rush Blue (TN) in the semifinals. TUSA then beat West Pines Strikers (FL) 1-0 to punch their ticket to the National Championship.

How they got to Nationals

Santa Clara Sporting qualified to the 2013 US Youth Soccer Region IV Champions by winning their fourth straight California North State Cup over Los Gatos FC (CA-N). At Regionals, Santa Clara Sporting placed second in their group before defeating Sparta 96 Premier (UT) 4-0 in the quarterfinals and Las Vegas Premier 96 Black (NV) 2-1 in the semfinals. In the finals, Santa Clara beat Crossfire Premier 95 (WA) 4-2 to qualify for the National Championships.

How they got to Nationals

CUP qualified to the National Championships by winning the National League Blue Division with a 6-1 record and a 16:8 goal differential. CUP then went on to win the Ohio South State Cup for the sisxth time. At the Region II Championships, CUP scored 22 goals and only conceded two, and capped things off with a 6-0 victory over SC Waukesha 95/96 Blue (WI).

How they got to Nationals

West Coast placed second in the National League Blue Division by defeating title holders Scottsdale Blackhawks (AZ) on the final day of the season to secure a spot in the National Championships. West Coast sported a 5-2 record while scoring 13 goals and giving up  seven. West Coast then won their third California South State Cup and advanced to the quartfinals of the Region IV Championships.

How they got to Nationals

OBGC won the National League Red Division with a 6-0-1 record to qualify for the National Championships. OBGC scored 22 goals, which was six more than any other team and tied their own National League record set last last season. OBGC followed that up with its fourth straight Maryland State Cup Championship. To finish things off, OBGC won the Region I Championship by defeating PDA McGeough (NJ) 3-2 in the finals.
