Group A Preview

McLean 00 Green (VA) is the only side in the Under-15 Boys age group returning to the National Championships and will look to take advantage of the experience. McLean missed out on a trip to the National semifinals last year by one point and will return 2015 US Youth Soccer National Championships Best XI players Daniel Diaz-Bonilla and Garrett Socas. CFA Raiders (IL) joined a list of only seven boys teams to have a perfect record in the US Youth Soccer National League and added a Region II Championship, as the Illinois side has arguably the most momentum heading to Frisco. SC Sporting used a come-from-behind victory in extra time to win the Region IV Championship and will need plenty more success in high-pressure situations if it wants to go far in the National Championships. LMSC Sabertooth Rats (PA-E) will look to prove they are more than just a creatively named team, as the Eastern Pennsylvania side takes its inaugural trip to the National Championships after claiming its first state and regional title this year.

Group B Preview

National League Blue Division winner United FA 01 Premier (GA) will look to take a page from its Under-16 Boys club mates, who won the 2014 National Championship after winning the National League Blue Division. Sparta 01 JK was denied a spot in the 2015 National Championships via kicks from the mark in the 2015 Region IV Championships, but the Utah side finished second in a division that featured four former National Championship qualifiers, including the previous two National Champions. Toledo Celtics Black (OH-N) denied defending Region II Champions LFSC Geerling (MO) a shot at back-to-back trips to the National Championships and will look for similar results at the National Championships. Davie United Sharks 00/01 (FL) took down a pair of teams from the 2015 National Championships field, including defending Region III and National Champions Houstonians 2001 (TX-S), in its Region III Championship run and will look to overcome more talented opponents at the National Championships.
