How they got to Nationals

Libertyville FC 1974 (IL) showed that it can handle competition after defeating National League Blue Division Runner-Up, Michigan Jaguars 04 Green (MI) in the US Youth Soccer Midwest Regional Championships final game. Libertyville went undefeated in group play and made its way into the final with a close 1-0 victory in the semifinal. Despite going down a goal in the regional championship match, Libertyville scored two second half goals to take the title. The Illinois side warmed up for the regional event by going 3-3-1 in the 2017-18 National League season, so Libertyville will know what to expect at the National Championships.

How they got to Nationals

CDA Premier 04 (KY) worked hard to go undefeated in seven games during the 2017-18 National League season, earning an early ticket to the National Championships. The Kentucky side tallied the most goals in the 14U age group, scoring 19 goals and allowing five. Although CDA Premier already had a ticket, the team attempted to make a run for the Midwest Regional Championships, but CDA went 1-0-2 in the preliminary round, and a fellow National League contender won the group. Regardless, CDA will look to use its undefeated run at National League as momentum to do well at Nationals.

How they got to Nationals

As the National League Red Division winner, Nationals Union 04 Black (MI) heads into the National Championships, looking to prove that it can continue the performance.
