How they got to Nationals

GPS NY Regional Team (NY-W) will compete as the Eastern Regional Championship representative at the US Youth Soccer National Championships after making it to the regional final match in Spotsylvania, Va. GPS endured a few narrow escapes to earn a spot in the final match. After a close race in group play, GPS made it out of the group  and defeated STA MUSC 2003 (NJ) in kicks from the mark in the semifinal. While GPS fell to 2017 National finalist Beadling Elite 2003 (PA-W) in the Eastern Regional Championship game, the New York West side earned the opportunity to fight for a National title as Beadling previously qualified for the event through the National League.

How they got to Nationals

As a Southern Regional Premier League Wild Card, 03 PTFC Black (NC) battled all the way to take the Southern Regional Championships crown in order to have a spot at the National Championships. The North Carolina team converted a total of 17 goals throughout the event with Jair Rivera and Julian Bruno-Bernal playing key roles on the offensive side. The regional championship match consisted of a meeting between PTFC and 2017 National Champion United SA Mount Pleasant 03 Premier (SC), where PTFC came out on top with a 1-0 victory. How they got to Nationals

USA/MP 03 Premier (SC) returns to the National Championships after being the first team from its club to win not only a Southern Regional Championship but a National Championship as well in 2018. The returning champions has already learned in the past year that it has a target on its back, but the players have proved that they can keep up the work rate. USA/MP booked its ticket to Nationals after placing second in the National League Blue Division.
