How they got to Nationals

After winning its club’s first Eastern Pennsylvania State Cup, Keystone FC Premier 03 (PA-E) traveled to Spotsylvania, Va., looking to continue its run with a regional title. A couple of close group games to begin the Eastern Regional Championships resulted in Keystone picking up four points before the side secured a big victory to clinch a semifinal spot. A pair of 1-0 victories in the semifinal and the final, which required overtime, allowed Keystone to become Eastern Regional Champions and punch a ticket to Nationals.

How they got to Nationals

After winning the Southern Regional Premier League West title, Liverpool 03 Elite (TX-N) went to the Southern Regional Championships and advanced as the second-place team from Group A. A late goal in the quarterfinals gave Liverpool a dramatic victory, and it followed that up with a 3-1 win in the semifinals to earn a place in the championship game. How they got to Nationals

After coming up short in the Cal South State Cup, Beach FC DPL (CA-S) secured a wildcard spot in the Far West Regional Championships and took advantage of its opportunity. In Hawaii, the Cal South side used strong defensive efforts to advance as the top team in its group. Two more shutouts in the knockout rounds put Beach FC into the championship game against local side Leahi 03 Premier (HI). Despite conceding its first goal of the tournament, Beach FC fought back and won, 2-1, in overtime to claim the regional title.

How they got to Nationals

Thanks to becoming one of the rare teams in the history of the National League to concede zero goals in a season, PDA Shore Freedom (NJ) earned 15 points to win the Blue Division. The New Jersey side began its season by earning eight points from four games in North Carolina. It then traveled to Florida in January and secured another seven points with two shutout victories and a draw. PDA’s unbreakable defense and timely scoring proved to help the team to enough points in the standings to hold on for the division title.

How they got to Nationals

It came down the final day of the National League season for IFC 03G GPS (OR), which needed a win against San Diego Soccer Club Academy-Navy (CA-S) to finish second in the Blue Division and earn a place at Nationals. The Oregon side received a second-half goal from Sofia Sosa and hung on for a 1-0 win to jump past San Diego and finish as the group’s runner-up. That win capped off a strong finish to the league season for IFC, as it picked up 10 of a possible 12 points over its final four games — with each victory coming in shutout fashion.

How they got to Nationals

The Nevada side earned a shot to defend its title by finishing as the top team in the National League Red Division. LVPSA opened its season with two wins and two ties in North Carolina before reeling off three straight wins in its backyard of Las Vegas to wrap up the season with 17 points and a plus-22 goal differential. LVPSA also won the Nevada State Cup and picked up a win and two draws at the Far West Regional Championships in preparation for Nationals.

How they got to Nationals

CSA Impact United 03 Black (OH-N) narrowly missed out on winning the National League Red Division, but its runner-up finish still earned the Ohio North side a trip to the National Championships. CSA tied defending National Champion LVPSA 03 Red (NV), 1-1, to open the season before picking up five wins and another draw. Its 17 points matched LVPSA and goal differential is the only thing that separated CSA from the division title. The Ohio North side also had its share of success in the Midwest Regional League and at the Midwest Regional Championships, so it should be ready for Nationals.
