How they got to Nationals

After winning the Illinois State Cup, NSA Shock headed to the Midwest Regional Championships. In group play, NSA topped the group after advancing on a goal differential tiebreaker. NSA secured the big win it needed on the final day of preliminary play and got some help in the group's other game to seal its spot in the semifinals. In the semifinals, NSA earned a 4-1 win over Minneapolis United Inferno (MN) - a team that had only allowed one goal throughout group play. The momentum from the semifinal win carried over into the final and NSA defeated EGA 99 (NE) 2-0 to punch it's ticket to Nationals.
