US Youth Soccer is proud to announce that Edmond, Okla., and Oklahoma Soccer Association will host the 2013 US Youth Soccer Region III (South) Championships as part of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, the country's most prestigious national youth soccer tournament. The games will take place at the ESC Complex in Edmond, Okla.

US Youth Soccer is proud to announce the 14 champions of the 2012 US Youth Soccer Region III (South) Championships presented by National Guard, and commend their success in the state and regional championships of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, the country's most prestigious national youth soccer tournament.

The US Youth Soccer Region III (South) Championships presented by National Guard came to an inspiring conclusion Thursday with 10 teams lifting regional championship trophies and claiming a place at the 2012 US Youth Soccer National Championships in Rock Hill, S.C.

The first four champions, Under-13 and Under-19 Boys and Girls, were crowned Wednesday at the US Youth Soccer Region III (South) Championships presented by the National Guard. Celebrations and emotions were on display as U-13 Girls Dallas Texans (TX-N), U-13 Boys NASA 17 Elite (GA), U-19 Girls CCSC Sol (FL) and U-19 Boys GSA 93 Phoenix Red (GA) claimed their respective titles. The Under-19 champions will continue their journey and compete at the prestigious US Youth Soccer National Championship​

The Under-14 through Under-18 age finals are set with 20 teams playing their way into the final matches for the US Youth Soccer Region III Championships. Florida Rush Nike (FL) is the lone defending US Youth Soccer Region III Champion team who has the opportunity to win back-to-back titles Thursday. They will face a rematch of last year’s final game as they face off with TSCH 94 Earle (OK) on Thursday.​

On Tuesday at the US Youth Soccer Region III Championships presented by National Guard, after enjoying a day of rest yesterday, the Under-17 and Under-18 age groups were back in action to round out the semifinal field. Another set of teams have inched closer raising aregional trophy and vying for the coveted US Youth Soccer National Championship.

Eight teams have played their way into the final matches of the Under-13 and Under-19 age groups for US Youth Soccer Region III (South) Championships in Greenville, S.C., presented by the National Guard. The U-13 and U-19 Boys and Girls championship matches will be played Wednesday at MeSA Soccer Complex. Not only will the U-19 teams claim a regional title, the teams will also punch tickets to the US Youth Soccer National Championships in Rock Hill, S.C., July 25-29, at the Manchester Meadows.

Quarterfinals matches brought plenty of emotion and drama to the Region III (South) Championships presented by National Guard. Under-14 through Under-16 age groups played quarterfinal matchups Monday and winners will enjoy a day off tomorrow as they prepare for semifinals on Wednesday. Two games were decided in overtime, with 3 going to PKs to decide a winner.

More than 200 teams began play at the US Youth Soccer Region III (South) Championships presented by National Guard, and Sunday the field was whittled to 96 quarterfinal teams. Sunday's games marked the third and final day of preliminary games and the sense of urgency was tangible as numerous teams were playing with a spot in the quarterfinals on the line. The conditions were ideal at MeSA and Wenwood Soccer Complexes, enabling the best youth soccer players to play their best when it counted.

The US Youth Soccer Region III (South) Championships, presented by the National Guard, continued today at the MeSA Soccer Complex in Greenville, S.C. On day two of the championships, passion was on display as teams jockeyed for pool position in preparation for the last day of preliminary games. After more than 200 games in two days, several teams have secured slots in the quarterfinals while many others have everything to play for on day three of the tournament.
