US Youth Soccer would like to congratulate Tab Ramos, one of the most talented players to ever suit up for the U.S., on being named coach of the Under-20 U.S. National Team.

After a playing career which included three World Cups, an Olympic Games and stops in Spain and Mexico before helping launch MLS with the NY/NJ Metrostars (New York Red Bulls), Ramos started coaching youth soccer at the advice of his former Spanish coach Xavier Azkargorta. A member of the U.S. Soccer Federation Player Development Task Force since 2006, Ramos won the Under-14 Boys US Youth Soccer National Championship with NJSA 04 in 2008,  the only U.S. Youth Soccer National Championship for a New Jersey boys' club since 1988.
